“Terry was engaged by me as a Personal Fitness Consultant, with particular emphasis on Martial Arts training. Terry is professional, knowledgeable and thorough, and I highly recommend him.”
“Terry's approach to training is carefully thought out and whilst pushing to improve, he never exceeded my limits. He is a tough but considerate instructor who I wholeheartedly recommend.”
“I just want to say just how pleased I have been with the training programme that you devised and executed for my team at The SPA Way. When I had the idea of getting you to do a weekly training session, I suspected that it would be embraced by some people for some of the time. However, I am absolutely thrilled with the way so many of the team became committed to the training and the effects have generated considerable transformations in terms of fitness levels, weight loss, toning, mental sharpness, grit and determination. So much so that five of us were fit enough to take part in the Great North Run half marathon and to acquit ourseves at a level of 10-minute miles.
I would thoroughly recommend your ability to take a bunch of not very fit men and women and turn them into fit and focused athletes.”
“I would like to express my thanks to the staff of Fei Lung for their contribution to our successful Easter Activity Camps at Bromley High and Royal Rusell Schools. The instructors had the knowledge to adapt their classes to accordingly to the various age groups. At all times the children were engrossed and stimulated.”
“Terry has been a very reliable and professional member of the class instructor team. Always keen and enthusiastic for his classes, he built up an excellent rapport with our members in the Boxercise sessions that he ran.”
“Terry has proved to be without doubt our most valuable instructor, teaching anything up to five classes a week. The amount of effort put into his class preparation is always evident in the very high standard of class taught. Terry is highly-qualified, reliable and enthusiastic and always takes extra time and effort to help customers prior to, during and after his classes. He is very popular with the members and is without doubt a huge asset to Horizones.”
“I have known Terry as a Personal Trainer for almost three years. I work out with Terry three times a week when I am in London. We do a varied and flexible exercise plan which Terry devised that suits my specific needs and accommodates my work schedule and frequent business trips.
Terry is a freelance Personal Trainer with a varied and extensive background and experience in all aspects of fitness, martial arts, boxing and conditioning. Terry is highly motivated, reliable and experienced, and he has worked with various members of my family from young children to adult men and women. He is a wonderful and kind person with great listening skills and an acute ability to fine-tune a training programme to suit a specific need or condition and yet ensure the full benefits of a fulfilling workout. I have found Terry to be completely honest and professional in his approach and willing to offer advice and guidance on all aspects of training and personal fitness and wellbeing. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge and is continually seeking to improve his own capabilities by taking advanced courses and prgrammes to further enhance his ability.
I am very proud to have Terry as my Personal Trainer and have no hesitation in recommending him to any potential client that seeks a truly professional and capable Personal Trainer”
Feilung at the Crayford Centre
Feilung has been running a martial arts class at the Crayford Centre, a day service for adults with mental health problems in the London Borough of Bexley and part of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust services, for about 8 years now.
The class is geared towards learning self-defence techniques and improving fitness levels of participants, and draws from a wide range of martial arts schools and influences such as Kick Boxing, Kung Fu and Kenpo. Each instructor who has taught the class has brought a different perspective which has made it a varied and interesting experience for the students.
In particular the mental health service users who take part have benefited in a number of ways: increased confidence and focus of concentration, self-discipline and a safe outlet for anger and aggression, as well as learning specific martial arts skills and techniques.
The instructors ensure that all students work closely together, which makes for a very positive and healthy social dimension to the class.
The group always feels safe, and can provide a useful stepping stone for some back into mainstream classes and other community activities.
